This Skills Schools focuses on the implementation of skill development programmes funded by various ministries/departments under central & state Governments across the country. Some of the key schemes/ ministries/ departments/ State Governments, we have worked with are : • Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 2.0) under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India & National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) • Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 2.0) - under the Jammu & Kashmir Skill Development Mission ( JKSDM) & National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) • Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 2.0) - under the Skill Council for Persons with Disabilities (SC-PwD). • Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Urban Livelihoods Mission EST&P(DAY-NULM) Under the Jammu & Kashmir Housing & Urban Development Mission. • NSDC-CSR - Imparting Skill Development training to Indian youths for REC Foundation under National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) • NABARD Skill Initiative - Imparting Skill Development training to Indian youths under National Bank For Agriculture And Rural Development (NABARD) • NSDC-RPL - Sports Skills Council Sponsored (SPEFL-SC) RPL in Sports Sector for the Physical Activity Instructors of Government Schools. • Paid RPL in Food Processing Sector, Paid RPL in Handicrafts & Handloom Sector under the sponsorship of District Administration Kupwara Jammu & Kashmir. • Free Online Crash Course in Hospitality Sector under the aegis of Jammu & Kashmir Skill Development Mission (JKSDM) • Face Mask Making During COVID 19 for District Administration Kupwara & under the aegis of Jammu & Kashmir Skill Development Mission (JKSDM)
EXPLOREThis unit focuses on implementation of skill development programmes funded by employer and/or paid by student for various programmes (i) Student paid model - The fee is paid by the student himself (ii) Employer funded - There are three partnership models - • Hire and train - The candidate is hired (by way of Letter of Intent) before he/she enrols for the training programme. These are programmes exclusive to an employer • Providing employment opportunities to our students • Providing on–the–job training opportunities
EXPLOREThis Unit focuses on implementation of skill development programmes funded by Corporates as part of their CSR obligation. WSPL has an experience of successfully implementing CSR programmes for an array of learner segments in some of the most backward regions, difficult geographies, conflict zones, industrial clusters as well as urban areas across the country.
